Welcome To Tofino Inlet Cottages and Tofino Inlet House!

The Tofino Inlet House was built in 1964 and the Tofino Inlet Cottages were built in 1970. Built entirely of westcoast cedar by a Swiss master craftsman, the house and cottage’s warmth and comfort is hard to beat.

The cottages overlook Tofino Inlet and the crabdock, and have views that are both entertaining and breathtaking. Looking northeast from the porches, one can see snow-covered Forbidden Plateau, Meares Island, and Lemmens Inlet. Looking west, one has a view of the length of Tofino Harbour. The sunsets from the cottages are spectacular.

The crabdock is the last of three government docks on Tofino Inlet, and is used by local fishermen as well as visiting mariners. You can enjoy morning coffee on your porch while surveying the boats and people coming and going on the wharf. You can also moor your own boat at the dock, or launch a canoe or kayak right in front of the cottages.

On the shore, the house and cottages are surrounded by lovely, well-established gardens of azaleas, rhododendrons and hydrangeas, which provide privacy and an atmosphere of repose. Although the property is out of the way of the action in the village, it is only a 5 minute drive, or a leisurely walk or cycle to most shops, tour boat companies, good restaurants and splendid beaches.

Tofino’s new bike path provides villagers and guests alike with safe walking, cycling, skateboarding or rollerblading to Mackenzies beach, Chestermans beach, and Cox Bay.
